french inspired outdoor spaces
i love creating vignettes around my home, my sisters’ on my visits and clients. inspiring little “travel spots” that take me places…when i can’t travel. and ever since we moved into a house i can’t stop but drooling over chic and glamorous outdoors. florida is loaded with them. now i’m not talking about these ultra modern…over sized sitting areas that cost a fortune…or these ultra bling and expensive fountains that throw waves of water coming down a glassy wall…no no. i’m talking about these little spaces…that when you walk around you’re thinking i found it you know what i mean? like me in wonderland.
and g-d knows how much i drool over french inspired spaces…indoors and out…and this little french bistro inspired nook i created myself…in our backyard…just for my morning coffee and magazine time…or an evening drink…or all the time. you pick.
i found this white porcelain set (only part of it is shown) in paris flea market last summer. more on that one in another post. do you like it?
o.k. so i had to throw in the hammock. it’s not a bistro or anything but don’t you love this spot?
i couldn’t ignore this outdoor playground when i walked from the carwash (i left my car for wax treatment)…and walked back about a mile, in the morning heat, to kill time at a french bistro near where i live…waiting for my car to be ready.

would you live like this?…on the water…your boat gently rocking to put you to a good nap…away from the hassle…just you and water?…i say yeah yeah yeah.
