Painting in a museum

“I am still far from being what I want to be, but with God’s help I shall succeed”

Vincent Van Gogh

I will be showing few pieces of my oil paintings at smofa – Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts, in Plantation this coming weekend.
Reception is on Sat. Feb 5th , from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm, and last through March 31st.

The museum is founded by Brooklyn born artist/businessman, Max Schacknow, who believed that every artist deserves to showcase his/her talent and so he provided that opportunity using his business plan, skills and passion to build this museum for that purpose.

I took some images of my paintings and post them here. I wanted to capture the best in the paintings but my camera is not so sophisticated and I had problems with lighting. I cropped the images and got rid of the dark sections. I did get, however, my brand new Sony camera (yay) just now and I can’t wait to open the box and experiment. Then, I’ll post full size paintings for your enjoyment, and mine, 😉 very very soon.
